After experiments during the long international break at the end of September and beginning of October, Germany coach Jürgen Klopp has returned to safer choices. The coach has published the squad called up for the next two matches of the national team, which also includes several new names.
The main attention is drawn by the return of striker Niclas Füllkrug. The Werder Bremen player has earned another opportunity after a fantastic start to the season, with eight goals in his first nine Bundesliga matches. His performances have convinced Klopp to include him in the squad again, despite being 33 years old.
Another name that confirms its place on the list is Said El Mala, the Cologne talent, who was also called up in October and had received several minutes in the matches against Serbia and Greece.
However, special attention also deserves Brajan Gruda. The Leipzig player has been called up again by Klopp, getting another chance to show his qualities in the Germany shirt, after he was injured in the previous call-up. Alongside him, the list includes two new names: Wael Mohya of Borussia Mönchengladbach and Finn Jeltsch of Stuttgart.
Germany will first play away against Serbia on Friday, 13 November, as part of the Nations League. Then, on 16 November, they will host the Netherlands in Berlin.
