The Albanian national team will play the final match of Group C1 in the UEFA Nations League League C against Belarus on 15 November, at the “Illovszky Rudolf” Stadium in Budapest, Hungary. The match will be played without spectators, due to the sanctions imposed by UEFA on Belarus.
According to the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee, taken on 3 March 2022 and still in force, Belarusian clubs and national teams are obliged to play their home matches on neutral grounds. The decision also provides that these matches be played without fans.
For this reason, the Belarus-Albania clash in Budapest will not be open to the public. Albanian fans will not be able to follow the match from the stands of the stadium, even though the game will be held at a venue outside Belarusian territory.
The Red and Blacks will thus close the group stage of the UEFA Nations League with this away trip, in a match that is important for the conclusion of the adventure in Group C1.
