The first mobile telecommunications company in Albania gets ready to adopt the brand identity of Deutsche Telekom

In the coming days, Albanian Mobile Communications will reveal a new corporate identity, completely transforming the way it introduces itself and, in tandem, further improving the experience it offers to customers.

As the first mobile operator in Albania that began commercial operations almost 20 years ago, AMC is well known for the crucial contribution it has brought to the lives of Albanian citizens. The very first mobile call, short messages, internet connection right up to the latest technological advancements – all these communication channels have permanently changed the way in which we live and interact. Now, AMC is about to offer its services under the Telekom brand identity.

Acquired by OTE Group in 2000, with Deutsche Telekom’s acquisition of OTE in 2009, AMC indirectly became part of Deutsche Telekom. The connection to Deutsche Telekom Group is very soon to be enhanced. With this step forward, the public will see changes in the brand name, its colour and logo. Moreover, rebranding involves activities such as the re-design of shops, new innovative products and services, communication campaigns, a new website and much more. This pivotal change will firmly position  Albanian telecommunications amongst the best in Europe.

The initial benefits of this exciting new era will come to customers in the form of new innovative services and offers which will be readily available to them, bringing to Albania the full spirit of the Deutsche Telekom family.
