Berisha: Debt is now over 80%. Rama: Our work will be valued on June 21st

The former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, and his successor, Edi Rama, discussed once again in Parliament. Berisha accused Rama of making his government members rich and impoverishing citizens. He also called the crossing of the debt above 80% as irresponsible.

Rama answered by saying that the results of their work will be seen on June 21st. The opposition Parliament Members were focused on their accusations on the wife of Erion Veliaj, the candidate of the Socialist Party for Tirana. They say that she has been the defending lawyer of a Georgian trafficker who has laundered money in Albania, according to them.

“Everything has a moral. The man who declared in 2011 of having 3000 Euros is now building a high-end villa. What about the apartment building that doesn’t have a single bill? Is there any other building like this in Tirana, rather than that of your leader and of his wife? And he boasts of establishing the rule of law. What rule of law?”, Berisha declared.

“After a few days, the Albanian people will say their word. It is important to hear them with calm. I believe that the Albanian people have understood that they have you here in Parliament for words, and they have us in government for work”, Rama declared.

“This notorious character of the international mafia is tied with Parliament Members who also have criminal records. According to the files of the Prosecution, Ajola Xoxa is one of the lawyers of Xhanashvili. The majority has only stayed silent”, declared the Chairman of the Parliamentary Group, Edi Paloka.

“You forgot Zafar Ansari who arrived in Tirana and was asked by Argita to hand over 3%? Did you forget Damir Fazlic, at Argita again? We finally found what Lulzim Basha has done in these four years as a Mayor, because this is the question that we have been doing non stop. He has given a construction permit for a new floor above his house at his apartment building”, declared the vice leader of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.
