Did the energy price increase or not?
Did the energy price increase or not? Will Albanians pay more after January 1st? Edi Rama says “no”, Lulzim Basha says “yes”. They keep defending their arguments on social media as a response to each other.
Edi Rama said that citizens should not forget the fake news about an increased price of electricity. He says that this is simply a reform that removes the 300 kw limit, which ends the robbery system.
“This reform will bring justice, welfare and more energy saving”, Rama sayd on Facebook, and guarantees that “every family held by retired people, disabled people or that lives under welfare, will have a 700 ALL compensation for the difference”.
But the opposition leader says all this is a lie. He asks citizens to not trust Edi Rama when he says that the energy price did not increase, because it is a fact that from 7.7 it went to 9.5 ALL.
“Even the more ordinary liars cannot fight against their facts”, Basha declared. “You have to be a pathological liar if you believe that you get away with every lie”, he added.
Lulzim Basha says that the Rama-Meta governing can be identified with poverty, unemployment, higher taxes and higher prices.
“The patience of the Albanian people has a limit”, says the Democratic Party leader, who says that “time has come for charlatans to have what they deserve, as in every other place of the world”.
For the Democratic Party, this means a return in the season of protests. This was confirmed as an ultimatum by the second person in charge of the opposition, Arben Ristani.
“Edi Rama lied to the Albanian people by breaking the promise that he would reduce the energy price. Edi Rama increased the energy price and broke the agreement he had with the citizens. Together with this, he broke his legality. The Democratic Party appeals Edi Rama to withdraw the 25% energy price increase or he will face the biggest and most massive protests our country has ever known”, Ristani declared. TCH
