A serious criminal case has come to light in Bulqizë, where the wife and son of a 57-year-old man are suspected of having conspired to kill him and then attempted to conceal the traces of the crime.
The incident occurred on November 3 in the village of Godvi, where the relatives of citizen U. F. initially claimed that he had lost his life as a result of an attack by a bear.
Police investigations and forensic medical examination rejected this version, revealing that the 57-year-old had been killed with a firearm.
As the investigation progressed, police detained the victim’s wife, 57, and his 33-year-old son, who are suspected of being involved in the crime.
According to investigative suspicions, the mother and son used a firearm and sharp cutting tools to carry out the killing, and then attempted to create a different scenario for the death of the head of the family, presenting it as the result of an attack by a wild animal.
Police continue the investigation to fully document the circumstances and motives of this serious incident.
