Erdogan’s declaration, Minister of Education: “Turkish Colleges are legal”

After the Turkish President suggested in Tirana the closing of the activities of Fetullah Gulen, including a network of schools, the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, declared that these educational institutions are legal. 

“The Ministry of Education has the competence to verify the legality criteria, laicity, safety, etc. We are determined and we have proven to do this with responsibility”, Nikolla declared.

13 institutions were closed this year after a detailed inspection. Nikolla made these declarations after the conclusion of the first training phase of 75 teachers.

For the first time, more than 1500 teachers will be trained so that students can not only learn texts, but they can also learn how to use them.
