The citizens’ protest in Tirana has spread beyond the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, reaching the Zogu i Zi area near the Train Station.
According to field reports, police have pursued protesters into this area, while waste bins were set on fire during clashes.
Water cannon trucks have also been deployed on the ground and are being used in an effort to disperse the crowd.
The situation remains tense, with police officers and protesters facing each other.
