The protest in front of the Ministry of Education has become tense, with many students and teachers gathered.
The student protest, which today was also supported by teachers, began peacefully this morning in front of the Polytechnic University and then moved to the Prime Minister’s Office.
Tensions began after the move to the Ministry of Education, when masked young people started throwing stones at the Ministry building.
The police reacted immediately, starting to spray water cannons at the protesters.
Although some iron barriers had been placed on the ground floor, the damage from the stones is visible.
Some of them even entered the institution’s courtyard, while the protest continues.
Meanwhile, on Durrësi Street, some businesses had not opened, while others had decided to raise their shutters today. But after the clashes began, they immediately started closing their businesses.
