At Fier’s Spitali Memorial, lawyer Plarent Ndreca says Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj needs urgent intervention after a Turkish doctor assessed his health condition.
“I came to get the documentation, but I cannot secure it,” Ndreca said, adding that this is a scandalous situation due to the negligence of institutions, which has led to the worsening of his leg condition.
“Every detainee has basic rights guaranteed by the Constitution and the law, including the right to receive medical treatment immediately upon request,” the lawyer stressed.
