Youth protests against the government are now also being voiced through written messages on the city’s walls. Graffiti expressing revolt and dissatisfaction with the situation in the country carries the demand for change and a better future in Albania.
“We don’t want to leave, you leave!” and “There is no state” are among the slogans that have drawn attention, reflecting young people’s dissatisfaction with politics and the reality they face.
Through these messages, protesters oppose leaving the country and demand that the responsibility for change not fall on those who see emigration as the only alternative for their future.
