Tense moments were recorded on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard on Friday evening, during a protest taking place in Tirana.
A group of protesters clashed with representatives of the Democratic Party, repeatedly demanding that they leave the protest. The situation escalated further, as the protesters chased them to the vicinity of the DP headquarters. DP deputies fled running.
According to reports, they crossed the Lana river to escape the crowd and then took refuge inside the Democratic Party headquarters.
The protesters wanted to throw one deputy into the Lana! Could it have been Klevis Balliu? So far he has not commented, although various media outlets have given his name.
