15:35. A few hours after the start of the protest in front of the Ministry of Education, clashes broke out between police and protesters; the latter have left the Ministry, partly due to the rainy weather.
The situation in front of the Ministry of Education has become tense, as a group of protesters, mostly masked young people, threw stones and pieces of paving slabs at police and the Ministry building.
The State Police responded with water cannon trucks, while special forces of the FNSH were also deployed to the area. Three waste bins were set on fire during the clashes. As of the time of reporting, officers had not used tear gas.
The rest of the protesters continued the rally with calls against the government and demands for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Citizens and supporters of the Democratic Party have also joined the protest.
