“There is a propagandistic insistence in Albania that taxes have increased, but in fact it is the first year that 97 percent of Albanians have benefited from tax cuts, compared to many years ago when the notorious flat tax on personal incomes was enacted,” said Rama.

He stressed that the calls to restore the flat tax, are calls to remove from people’s pocket the money that they have benefited through fair taxation.
